Nebraska woman injured in accident near Rollag

Rollag, MN – The Minnesota State Patrol responded to a two-vehicle collision north of Rollag Tuesday afternoon (August 27) at approximately 1:25 p.m.

According to the official report, 91-year-old August Marvin Frisk of Hawley was driving south on Highway 32.

David B. Merchen, 67, of Crofton, Nebraska, was driving west on 90th Avenue South when he failed to stop at an intersection and collided with Frisk's car.

Neither driver was injured, but Merchen's wife, 64-year-old Toni L. Merchen, was taken to Sanford Health for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The State Patrol was assisted by the Clay County Sheriff's Office, Hawley Fire and Barnesville EMS.
