Motorway reopened after fatal accident involving semi-trailers and military hazardous materials

BRINKLEY, Arkansas (KAIT/KARK) – Interstate 40 is now reopened following Monday night’s fatal crash in Brinkley.

According to our content partner KARK, the highway was reopened on the morning of August 27th.

Arkansas Department of Transportation officials said a military truck was stopped due to poor visibility caused by a grass fire, which led to a collision between two other semi-trucks, KARK reported.

Officials added that two missile stacks were involved in the crash.
