Authorities investigate after man found dead in ditch

MCCOMB, Mississippi (WLBT) – McComb Police are investigating after a man was found dead in a ditch Tuesday.

Police Chief Juan Cloy said officers responded to a 911 call at 2:55 p.m. reporting a man lying face down in a ditch near the intersection of North Cherry Street and Ave. G.

According to the chief, there are currently no suspects.

He also tells WLBT 3 On Your Side that the victim's name will not be released until next of kin is notified.
