Reports: Tennessee Titans release Keaton Ellis

Former Penn State football safety Keaton Ellis has been released by the Tennessee Titans, according to Multiple reports.

Ellis, a graduate of State High, began his career with the Nittany Lions in 2019. Ellis' father Bruce also played for the Nittany Lions from 1973 to 1976.

Ellis appeared in every game during his freshman season and started five of six games in 2020, making him a key part of Penn State's secondary. During his time at Penn State, Ellis totaled 86 tackles and two interceptions before explained for the NFL Draft after the Peach Bowl.

Ellis was not drafted, but signed with the Titans according to the draft.
