Gallatin couple charged with serious domestic violence

Two people have been charged in connection with a shooting Monday night that occurred during a domestic dispute.

Shortly before midnight, Gallatin police officers arrived at Sabrina Brummett's East Park Street apartment. Authorities said Vinson Williams fired two shots inside the house. Brummett then left the apartment to make a phone call.

“On the way back to the residence, [she] “Williams was found on the street with her dog,” police wrote. “Brummett demanded the dog be returned.”

According to police, Williams then “urged” Brummett to shoot him, whereupon she shot him in the foot.

Both are now accused of serious domestic violence.

The investigation is still ongoing.
