A man from the Old Town must spend 36 months behind bars for downloading child pornography.

According to the U.S. Attorney's Office, U.S. District Judge Lance Walker handed down the sentence against 40-year-old Matthew Podlaski on Tuesday at the U.S. District Court in Bangor.
