Houston man wanted, charged with fatal knife attack on ex-girlfriend

A Houston man is now wanted after being accused of stabbing his ex-girlfriend earlier this month.

Oscar Daniel Vega Espinoza, 34, was charged with murder and tampering with evidence in connection with the killing on the morning of August 17.

The victim's body was found underwater near the banks of the Brays Bayou Greenway Trail in southeast Houston. Officers found that the body had multiple stab wounds. Further investigation into the victim's background allowed them to identify Vega Espinoza as the prime suspect in the murder.

The identity of the 30-year-old victim has not yet been disclosed.
