Rapper Lil Baby arrested after weapons charge in Las Vegas | Kats | Entertainment

Rap star Lil Baby was arrested in Las Vegas for carrying a concealed firearm without a permit.

The headliner, whose real name is Dominique Jones, was reportedly booked into the Clark County Detention Center on a $5,000 bond after a video showed him being handed a gun at an undisclosed location.

TMZ reports, “Lil Baby was spotted clubbing at Encore in Vegas…” Representatives for Wynn/Encore have not confirmed whether the incident occurred at that resort’s nightclubs.

Las Vegas attorney David Chesnoff, who is working on Lil Baby's case with Atlanta attorney Drew Findling, said in a phone call Tuesday: “To be clear, Dominique Jones has a valid Georgia concealed carry weapon (CCW) permit. On his behalf, we are actively investigating the facts and circumstances of his arrest in Las Vegas.”

Chesnoff said the rapper was released. Chesnoff did not know the location of the arrest.

Nevada does not recognize concealed carry permits issued in Georgia.

Lil Baby is a regular headliner in Las Vegas. He and Lil Wayne performed at the 49ers' post-Super Bowl party at Omnia at Caesars Palace.
