Chris Pine joins the Italian drama “The Abduction of Arabella”

Chris Pine (Star Trek, Wonder Woman) is the cast of the Italian drama The kidnapping of Arabella by Carolina Cavalli, whose filming begins this week in northern Italy.

In the film, Benedetta Porcaroli plays a young woman who is convinced that she is the wrong version of herself until she meets a seven-year-old girl who makes her think again.

It is Cavalli's second feature film after his highly acclaimed debut Amandain which Porcaroli also starred, this time in the role of an isolated young woman who tries to reconnect with a childhood friend.

The film premiered in Venice in 2022 as part of the Orizzonti Extra program and was hosted with great success. It was then shown in Toronto.

In the same year, Pine was in Venice with Olivia Wilde Don't worry, darlingHis credits in the meantime include Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves And Pool man.

The murder of Arabella is produced by Elsinore Film and The Apartment, a Fremantle company. The producers are Antonio Celsi for Elsinore and Annamaria Morelli for The Apartment.

The production will be filmed in the Italian regions of Veneto and Emilia-Romagna.
