Shreveport woman arrested for aggravated assault with a firearm

On August 24, 2024, at approximately 11:40 a.m., Shreveport Police officers responded to a report of an armed individual in the 4000 block of Golf Links Boulevard. Upon arrival, officers quickly assessed the situation and gathered all necessary facts and circumstances.

As a result of their investigation, officers arrested 33-year-old AlonQuinette SmithShe was charged with one count of aggravated assault with a firearm and one count of simple assault. Fortunately, no one was injured in this incident.

The firearm involved has been confiscated and the Shreveport Police Department remains committed to removing violent offenders from our streets and keeping our community safe.
