Detroit Marriott faces lawsuit after employee accuses hotel manager of sexual harassment

DETROIT – The Detroit Marriott is at the center of a lawsuit after one of its employees said a hotel manager sexually harassed her.

The lawsuit alleges that the sexual assault occurred after the manager invited her to his hotel room.

The woman said the manager told her that other employees would also be present.

The woman filed a complaint with the police and a rape kit eventually led to the manager's arrest.

Officials say criminal charges are pending against him. Lawyers claim the woman was forced to quit her job at Marriott because of the trauma she suffered.
