One person injured in stabbing in downtown Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS, Nevada (FOX5) – Las Vegas police are investigating a stabbing in downtown early Monday morning.

According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the stabbing occurred around 4:15 a.m. at a 7/11 store in the 1400 block of Fremont Street, near 15th Street.

A man with stab wounds was found at the scene and taken to UMC Trauma, where his condition is currently stabilized.

Detectives are on site and are investigating.

The intersection of Fremont Street and Ogden Avenue will remain closed until further notice. The public is asked to avoid the area.
