Officers responded around 4 p.m. after a caller came to the address to check on her friend and found the friend and her husband dead.

LEAKE COUNTY, Mississippi (WTOK) – The Leake County Sheriff's Department reports three people were found dead at 7180 Highway 488 in Freetrade Township on Saturday.

Officers responded around 4 p.m. after a caller came to the address to check on her friend and found the friend and her husband dead.

Sheriff Randy Atkinson said in a statement to Breezy News that the woman was identified as Kelly Duarte and the man found hanged and unconscious was identified as Reynaldo Duarte.

Atkinson said police discovered a third person at the scene who was unresponsive and later identified as Robert Walker.

Inside the house, investigators found several cartridge cases and a firearm.
