The fiancée of Donald Trump Jr. Kimberly Guilfoyle has accused Vice President Kamala Harris of denying her a job more than two decades ago, around the year 2000. Both were young lawyers on their way to politics. Kamala Harris was an assistant district attorney in San Francisco. Kimberly Guilfoyle was in talks to take the office, but Harris tried to block it. According to a New York Times report, Guilfoyle said Harris called her and told her there was no job for her.
“She pretended to be on the hiring committee that didn't exist,” said Guilfoyle, who is now a key member of the Trump campaign and calls Donald Trump her father-in-law. Despite Kamala Harris's attempt, Guilfoyle was hired. Kamala Harris denied any role and said she offered to help.
Guilfoyle has not forgotten the episode and often comments at public events how long she has known Kamala Harris. “I've known her for 25 years and let me tell you something: Do whatever it takes to keep her out of the White House,” Guilfoyle said recently at a Republican dinner in Florida.
