Kiambu County – Vice President Rigathi Gachagua visited the family of the late Nominated Member of the County Assembly (MCA) Ezra Kihara.

Kihara died in a tragic traffic accident near Mang'u High School after his car collided head-on with a truck and burst into flames.

Where did MCA Kihara die?

The Thika MCA was travelling from Nairobi when he was involved in an accident at around 5:30am on Sunday, September 22.

Kihara was known for his focus on community development and his commitment to the welfare of his constituents.

During his visit, the Vice President expressed his deepest condolences to the grieving family.

“We keep Hon Kihara’s widow, Jackline Wacera, and her young family in our prayers that our Lord will comfort them during this difficult time,” he said.

“The county has lost a valuable leader who worked tirelessly for his people. Ezra’s death is a great loss not only to his family but to the entire Kiambu community,” said Governor Wamatangi.
