Nasik: A 20-year-old criminal To police Record was allegedly murdered by six people late Sunday evening in Pathardi Village.
The police arrested the six accused in the case.
According to Indiranagar police, the victim, identified as Nandesh Salve, had come to Pathardi Phata area where he got into an argument with one of the accused. After the argument, the men started beating each other.
“Salve is a resident of Vilholi and came to Pathardi around 10.30 pm where he had an altercation with the accused,” said a police officer of Indiranagar police.
“The defendant attacked Salve with sharp weapons and seriously injured him,” he said.
Locals alerted the police, who took the victim to the public hospital where he was pronounced dead.
