Sexual assault accused Akshay Shinde from Badlapur opens fire on police and is shot dead | Latest news from India

Akshay Shinde, accused of sexually assaulting two girls at a school in Badlapur town in Thane district of Maharashtra, was shot dead by police after he snatched a revolver from one of the police officers and fired at them.

The Thane CID took into custody of accused Akshay Shinde, who was accused in a fresh case against his wife, at Taloja Jail at 5.30 pm on the basis of an arrest warrant.
