“Who’s stealing my show?”: Triumph for Tommi Schmitt – Kiss for Joko

So far, Joko Winterscheidt (45) has managed to triumph over his opponents in the finals of the current “Who's stealing my show?” season (on ProSieben and Joyn) every time, thus defending his show. But in the third episode last Sunday (September 22), a celebrity from the panel – consisting of Tommi Schmitt (35), Nina Chuba (25) and Kurt Krömer (49) – took the lead and pushed Winterscheidt out of the moderator position of the upcoming edition of the quiz format.

Tommi Schmitt wins “Who’s stealing my show”

Together with wildcard winner Chiara, the celebrities face the various quiz categories to get ever closer to the final. After Chiara and Nina Chuba had to leave the field, Kurt Krömer also had no chance against the high-scoring Tommi Schmitt, who made it to the final for the second time this season. Under the direction of Katrin Bauerfeind (42), the presenter and podcaster (“Gemischtes Hack”, “Copa TS”) was able to secure a perfect starting position in the final quiz thanks to winning three coins.

Tommi Schmitt trembles – “I don’t want to moderate this at all”

Despite having lost the final before, Schmitt managed to cope with the pressure in his second attempt and won the quiz duel against Joko Winterscheidt. “I don't want to host this, I'm scared,” he admitted confidently before the answer to the last question. “But maybe it's completely wrong.” But he answered the question about the song that the music documentary “The Greatest Night in Pop” is about with “We Are the World” and really hit the nail on the head. The newly crowned “WSMDS” presenter kissed the dethroned Joko Winterscheidt at the end. He will try to win back his show as a quiz candidate in the next episode.

On Instagram, Tommi Schmitt is excited about his new job: “Yeeeeah. Next week I'll be hosting the show! A kiss for you too!” Viewers can follow how he will design his “WSMDS” edition next Sunday at 8:15 p.m. on ProSieben and Joyn.
