Bargain potential: Xiaomi Redmi Watch 5 Lite starts at 50 euros

The Xiaomi Redmi Watch 5 Lite is a new smartwatch that is launching in Germany. Some retailers, such as MediaMarkt, are already offering it at a bargain price of around 50 euros. Information on delivery times is still missing, but at least the specs of the smart fitness tracker are already known.

For the relatively reasonable price of just 50 euros, the Redmi Watch 5 Lite offers a decent range of functions. For example, one board includes a GNSS module, which is not necessarily a given for smartwatches in this price range. GPS, Glonass, Galielo, QZSS and Beidou are supported.
