Joko Winterscheidt lost the final of “Who’s stealing the show?” and has to hand over the moderation to a podcaster.

Joko Winterscheidt, 45, was able to keep his show until the third edition of this year's “Who stood me the show?” season (on ProSieben and Joyn) and always prevailed against his competitors in the final. But in the third episode, a candidate from the celebrity panel, consisting of Tommi Schmitt, 35, Nina Chuba, 25, and Kurt Krömer, 49, was successful last Sunday evening (September 22nd) and snatched the moderation for the next episode of the quiz format away from Winterscheidt.

“Who’s stealing my show?” gets a new presenter

Together with wildcard winner Chiara, the celebrities set about the task of getting closer and closer to the final in various quiz categories. After Chiara and Nina Chuba had to say goodbye, Kurt Krömer also had no chance against the high-scoring Tommi Schmitt, who ultimately made it to the final for the second time this season. For the all-important quiz hosted by Katrin Bauerfeind, 42, the presenter and podcaster (“Gemischtes Hack”, “Copa TS”) had secured himself an ideal starting position by winning three coins.

“I don’t want to moderate this, I’m scared”

After losing the final, Schmitt withstood the pressure in his second attempt and was able to win the quiz game against Joko Winterscheidt. “I don't want to host this, I'm scared,” he admitted confidently before the last question was answered. “But maybe it's completely wrong.” But when asked which song the music documentary “The Greatest Night in Pop” was about, he answered “We Are the World” and was actually right.

At the end, the newly crowned “WSMDS” presenter gave Joko Winterscheidt a kiss, who will now try to steal his show back as a quiz candidate in the next episode. On Instagram, Tommi Schmitt is looking forward to his task: “Yeeeeah. Next week I'll be presenting the show! A kiss for you too!” Viewers will see how he will organize his “WSMDS” edition next Sunday at 8:15 p.m. on ProSieben and Joyn.
