Man seriously injured in knife attack in Baunatal: Suspect arrested

On Sunday evening, a spokesman described what had happened on Fuldastrasse in the Hertingshausen district according to the current status of the investigation.

According to the report, an argument broke out between two men in the parking lot of the local shopping center for reasons that are not yet clear. During the argument, one of the two is said to have pulled out a knife and inflicted serious injuries on his opponent.

The perpetrator was arrested by the police near the crime scene. The injured man was immediately taken to a nearby hospital by the emergency services.

As the police spokesman also explained, the identities of the men have not yet been clearly established. The Kassel Criminal Investigation Department has begun investigations into attempted murder.
