Four people stabbed overnight in Minneapolis, one in serious condition

Three men and a 16-year-old boy were stabbed in a fight in Minneapolis overnight, police said.

Officers responded to reports of a stabbing in the 1300 block of Lake Street East around 12:57 a.m. Sunday.

There they found two men who had been stabbed – an 18-year-old with life-threatening injuries and a 26-year-old with non-life-threatening injuries. Both were taken to hospital.

Another man and a 16-year-old boy were later taken to hospital with non-life-threatening stab wounds.

Investigators believe that a fight broke out between a large group of people and that the four men were stabbed during the altercation.

A 36-year-old woman was arrested after showing up at the hospital with one of the men. At this time, she has not been named as a suspect and police are working to determine her involvement.
