Suspicious – On Friday, September 20, at 2 a.m., a suspicious vehicle was reported in the 1100 block of Northeast Third Avenue.

Suspicious person reported at 3:08 p.m. Thursday in the 200 block of Washington Street.

ARRESTS – We assisted an agency in arresting a 37-year-old man on a DUI warrant in the 300 block of Laurel Street on Thursday.

A 45-year-old man was arrested for driving under the influence and a license violation at around 4:20 p.m. Thursday at the corner of Northwest Third Street and Washington Street following an accident involving property damage.

A 35-year-old man was arrested at 11:56 a.m. Thursday on charges of second-degree assault, gross obstruction by use of force, disorderly conduct and fleeing on foot after a disturbance was reported in the 2400 block of Business Highway 371.

One person was arrested for second-degree aggravated assault, first-degree aggravated property damage, domestic violence and disorderly conduct and another person was cited for consumption of alcohol by a person under 21 after a disturbance was reported in the 600 block of Eighth Avenue Northeast at 12:09 a.m. Thursday.

ACCIDENT – Responded to an injury accident at 8:06 p.m. Thursday at Northeast Washington Street and Fourth Avenue Northeast.

PROPERTY DAMAGE – Report of property damage Thursday in the 1600 block of East River Road.

THEFT – A theft was reported Thursday in the 400 block of South Sixth Street.

FIRE – Report of a possible fire at 2:33 p.m. Thursday in the 500 block of North Third Street, but officials and the Brainerd Fire Department determined it was not a fire. It was exhaust fumes from the kitchen.

Baxter Police

THEFT – Report of merchandise stolen Thursday from store, 7295 Glory Road.

Two women, ages 23 and 24, were charged Thursday with shoplifting in connection with 7295 Glory Road.

Gasoline loss reported in the amount of $49.18, Thursday, 5:40 p.m., 7472 Excelsior Road.

ACCIDENT — A car struck a pedestrian coming out of Walmart Thursday. The incident was reported at 6:06 p.m., 7295 Glory Road. The victim was transported by North Memorial Health Ambulance with suspected minor injuries.

ASSISTANCE – Help in locating a suspect who fled on foot from the 600 block of Eighth Avenue Northeast at 12:09 a.m. Thursday.
