Candidates in Metro Vancouver on the second day of the election campaign in British Columbia

British Columbia's New Democrats and BC Conservatives begin their campaign tours through the cities of the Vancouver metropolitan area today as the election campaign enters its second day.

John Rustad's BC Conservatives are expected to be in Surrey, while David Eby's New Democrats will focus on Metro Vancouver.

Eby spent Saturday crisscrossing the Lower Mainland, with stops in Richmond, North Vancouver, Langley and Burnaby.

Rustad was on Vancouver Island on Saturday evening after kicking off his campaign in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside that morning.

Green Party leader Sonia Furstenau campaigned in her constituency in the state of Victoria.

Election day is October 19th.
