Almost a year after Matthew Perry’s death, Matt LeBlanc’s co-stars were said to be “concerned” about his behavior and appearance.

The Chandler Bing actor was found dead in his LA home on October 28 last year at the age of 54.

In the months that followed, his former co-star LeBlanc was rarely seen in public after paying his heartfelt respects and attending his private funeral in November.

The 57-year-old Joey Tribbiani actor was recently photographed in Los Angeles, looking relaxed and keeping a low profile.

However, his appearance and behavior have recently caused concern among Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow and David Schwimmer.

A source claimed: “No one is physically criticising Matt or accusing him of an inappropriate lifestyle, that is not what this is about.”

“What's worrying Jen and the whole Central Perk crew, however, is that he's been living such a secluded life lately and they barely hear from him from one month to the next.”

The insider added to In Touch Weekly: “He's kept in touch since Matthew Perry's tragic death, but other than that he's just withdrawn and doing his own thing with no real interest in socializing.”

“It’s just sad for everyone to see.”

They added that his co-stars want to “bring him back into the fold and put a smile back on his face” after Perry's tragic death made them realize “how short and precious life really is.”

LeBlanc was very close to Perry before his death and was the first of the five Friends stars to pay his respects.

Alongside pictures of the couple, he said: “Matthew, it is with a heavy heart that I say goodbye. The time we spent together was honestly some of the best times of my life.”

“It was an honor to share the stage with you and to call you my friend. I will always smile when I think of you and I will never forget you. Ever.”

“Spread your wings and fly, brother, you're finally free. Love. And I guess you keep the $20 you owe me.”

LeBlanc also released a joint statement with Aniston, Schwimmer, Cox and Kudrow following Perry's death, saying: “We are all deeply saddened by the loss of Matthew. We were more than just colleagues. We are family.”

In the statement sent to People, the cast added: “There is so much to say, but for now we take a moment to grieve and process this incredible loss.”

“We will say more over time when we are able. For now, our thoughts and love are with Matty's family, friends and everyone who loved him around the world.”

An autopsy later revealed that Perry died from the “acute effects of ketamine”; the police investigation into the cause of death is currently ongoing.
