Biker crashes into two cars in oncoming traffic

Bärenrode – Yesterday, Saturday afternoon, there was an accident between Bärenrode and Güntersberge (Harz district) on a country road to a fatal Accident.

According to the Harz police station, a motorcyclist came off his lane at around 2:10 p.m. He came too far to the left in a left-hand bend, hit an oncoming car and fell to the ground.

Another car driving behind him hit the fallen biker, who then ended up lying in the middle of the road. His motorcycle was thrown into an adjacent field, investigators report.

The 56-year-old man from Lower Saxony died at the scene of the accident.

Both drivers suffered shock in the tragic incident and were cared for by emergency services.

The road was completely closed for about four hours due to rescue and recovery work. A Rescue helicopterwho brought an emergency doctor to the scene of the accident.
