Gangtok, Sept 21: In a devastating turn of events, a young student of Burtuk College tragically lost his life in a road accident in Bulbuley on Saturday afternoon. The student, who was travelling on his bicycle, collided with a government vehicle which was being driven by a learner driver at the time.

Eyewitnesses reported that the student driver lost control of the vehicle during the practice, leading to the fatal accident. The impact was so severe that the student died at the scene, leaving a community in mourning.
