Authorities in New Hampshire are investigating after a worker was killed in an explosion at a mulch supplier in Weare.

A 27-year-old New Hampshire man was killed Wednesday in an explosion at the mulching plant where he worked.

Zachary Spooner of Windsor, NH, was killed in the explosion, which occurred around 2 p.m. at Haynes Mulch, 21 B and B Lane in Weare, according to local police.
