Photos show the person involved in child sexual abuse and burglary in Philadelphia

Philadelphia police have released photos of a man they believe may be of interest in connection with the child sexual abuse and home invasion investigation early Wednesday morning.

According to police, the burglary and sexual assault occurred around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday morning in the 3000 block of Cottman Avenue in the Mayfair neighborhood.

The man was allegedly caught trying to open residential doors near the crime scene, police said.

Police described the man as 20 to 30 years old, slim and of medium build.

According to authorities, the man has short hair and a full beard and was seen wearing a surgical mask, a dark jacket with a light-colored hoodie underneath, and dark pants, as seen in the photos above.

According to police, the man also has a large tattoo on the right side of his neck with a “1” above it and behind his right ear.
