Man charged with murder in New Bedford

NEW BEDFORD, Massachusetts (WLNE) – The Bristol County District Attorney’s Office announced that a Dartmouth man will be charged in connection with a Sept. 20 stabbing murder.

Tyler Dow Baglini, 31, was charged with murder.

He was taken into custody after police were called to Atlantic Street around 5 p.m. on reports of a stabbing.

Following his arrest, Baglini was held overnight at Saint Luke's Hospital for psychiatric evaluation.

The stabbing victim was identified as 31-year-old Kerri Fidalgo.

Baglini's arraignment is scheduled for September 23.
