Utah is one of many schools that used to be in the Pac-12 and made the jump to the Big 12 this season. The Utes are riding on their past success, which included multiple conference championships, and hope to continue a similar winning trend with this Power 4 conference. They've played well enough to win their first three games of the season, including a non-conference win over Baylor in Week 2. They've averaged over 35 points per game so far this season, including beating in-state rival Utah State 38-21 last Saturday.

Oklahoma State is trying to be one of the old hands and a top seed in the Big 12. The team, with its potent offense, has the makings of a championship contender and is capable of making the College Football Playoff. Although they are 3-0 to start the year, they have had some moments of slippage, including overcoming a slow start against Arkansas to win a double-overtime thriller in Week 2. If they can keep the game simple, they can open this year's conference schedule with a win.

This is the second meeting between the two schools; OK State won the first game in 1945.

MY CHOICE: Utah wins, 28-24
