In Ulm, a ten-year-old boy was riding his bike on a bike path on Wiblinger Ring on Thursday at around 5 p.m. To get to the sports facility more quickly, the 10-year-old used a footpath, police report. Bushes separate the bike path from the access road to the sports facility. That is why it is not visible, according to police.

Without paying attention to the traffic, the ten-year-old drove directly onto the access road and in front of the car of a 58-year-old. The latter was unable to stop and hit the cyclist. The ten-year-old hit his head against the windshield and was seriously injured. According to the police, he was not wearing a helmet. The material damage is estimated at around 2,000 euros.
