BOIS D'ARC, Missouri (KY3) – A Kansas City area man has been charged in connection with a stabbing late Wednesday afternoon.

According to court documents, Edward Storms, 55, of Independence, Missouri, is charged with first-degree domestic violence and armed criminal action.

The Greene County Sheriff's Office said officers were dispatched to the 11000 block of W. Farm Road 128 on Wednesday for a reported stabbing. When they arrived, they found a man who had been stabbed in the throat.
