Wayne County man faces 15 sexual offenses, including rape of child under 8 years old

WAYNE COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) – A Wayne County man is facing more than 15 sex offenses, including multiple counts of rape of minors, according to court records.

Seth Leedy, 43, of Shreve was arrested Thursday and is being held without bail in the Wayne County Jail pending arraignment.

Leedy is accused of five counts of rape. According to court documents, three of those charges involve the rape of children between the ages of 6 and 9.

According to court documents, two of the charges involve the rape of children between the ages of ten and twelve.

Nine of the charges involve sexual assault. Leedy is said to have had sexual contact with one or more victims under the age of 13, according to court documents.

Leedy is also accused of two counts of distributing substances harmful to minors.

The alleged incidents occurred between March 12, 2009, and November 21, 2018, according to court documents.

Leedy's arraignment is scheduled for Wednesday in Wayne County District Court.
