Samantha begins shooting for Raj and DK's Netflix series Rakt Brahmand

Actress Samantha is back on the sets of Rakt Brahmand and she couldn't be happier about it. After a long break due to health reasons, the actress shared an Instagram post on Thursday, September 19.

The photo shows Samantha's notepad, which is decorated with a bloody crown representing the Netflix series. Also visible on her desk are a pencil, a backpack, a coffee mug and a sleep-inducing oil.

“Never stop dreaming. I'm glad to be back on a film set after a while. Rakt Brahmand,” was her side note.

Ali Fazal has thrown himself into his next big projectthe fantasy drama series Rakt Brahmand. He will play the lead role opposite Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Produced by Raj and DK, the series will be directed by Rahi Anil Barve, who previously directed the hit 2018 horror drama Tumbbad.

Rakt Brahmand will also feature Aditya Roy Kapoor and Wamiqa Gabbi in the lead roles.

In July, Netflix announced the series by sharing a poster on Instagram. The grim poster features a crown with blood dripping everywhere. “Rakt Bramhand. The Bloody Kingdom,” the caption on the photo read. The note accompanying the post read, “We have BIG news that will get your blood pumping. We are so excited to announce our first ever action fantasy series.”

Meanwhile, Samantha is looking forward to the release of her Prime Video series Citadel Honey Bunny with Varun Dhawan. This action drama will premiere on November 7. Samantha has also released the Telugu film Bangaramplanned in their upcoming projects.
