Meet Diddy's "Nepo Baby" Lawyer Teny Geragos, Whose Famous "Star Lawyer" Father Defended Chris Brown in Rihanna Assault Trial

Sean “Diddy” Combs' attorney Teny Geragos has asserted her client's innocence on television and TikTok after the rapper was arrested in New York City on September 16 and charged with sex trafficking.

Diddy's lawyer says he prepared for bail by paying off his $18 million Miami home.

In a new interview on the show “News Nation” CuomoGeragos told the moderator: “He is fighting. He is innocent and he will be able to show it.”

Geragos, the daughter of Celebrity Lawyer Mark Geragos continued to defend the music producer: “I hope he gets out. He did everything someone under suspicion can do. I can't think of anything else he could have done. There were no surprises here, Chris. We knew he was under investigation for organized crime and sex trafficking, and he stayed there. He made a commitment not to leave the country. He stayed in the country, and they didn't ask him to. That was a commitment he made.”

She added: “But these activities and lifestyles are not criminal. What was remarkable today, what my partner Mark said in court, is that they never said that these women not agreed to what happened, not once.” Combs, 54, was again denied bail on Wednesday after his lawyers argued he must be released from “appalling” prison conditions while he awaits trial, the BBC writes.

Geragos also used TikTok to share clips of herself defending the hip-hop mogul with visual aids. “All right, here we go again, Diddy got sued by a former bandmate; I'm his lawyer and here's why you should care,” she said in a video, as reported by the New York Times.

The 66-year-old has represented a number of prominent clients over the years, including Combs, Winona RyderChris Brown (during his Rihanna assault trial), Kesha, MichaelJacksonand Susan McDougal, one of the defendants in the Clintons' Whitewater scandal in the 1990s, according to Chambers Associate.
