Five people arrested after fatal knife attack on man in Teesside

Cleveland Police say five people have been arrested for murder after a 26-year-old man was stabbed to death in Teesside. The incident happened on Hills Drive in Stockton-on-Tees around midnight on Thursday. The victim's identity has not yet been confirmed, but his family is being supported by trained officers.

Authorities have been questioning the five suspects, who are still in custody. On Thursday morning, local media captured images of a blue forensic tent erected at the crime scene, a residential area north of the town centre. A local resident told Teesside Live that he administered CPR to the victim after hearing “high-pitched screams” and finding him on the ground. “He was still alive at that point,” the resident mentioned.

Additionally, the images showed an officer guarding a cordoned off section of the road. Cleveland Police have urged witnesses or anyone with relevant footage to come forward as the investigation continues.

Forensic teams in white overalls were also photographed by the Northern Echo at the end of Stewart Road.
