Nationwide forecast of moderate weather conditions

Amman, September 20 (Petra) – Moderate weather is expected in most parts of the kingdom on Friday, but hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.
There is a moderate northwest wind, which will freshen up in the afternoon.
The ministry said temperatures will drop slightly tomorrow, Saturday, with the weather in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba being predominantly temperate and conditions relatively hot. Light clouds will form at various altitudes, with a slight chance of light rain showers in some isolated areas in the north of the Kingdom and moderate northwesterly winds.
In the capital Amman, temperatures will be between 28 and 18 degrees Celsius.
In the port city of Aqaba, maximum temperatures reach 39 degrees during the day and drop to 26 degrees at night.
