Jimmy Fallon celebrates a life full of “applause and laughter” on his 50th birthday

Jimmy Fallon just celebrated 50 years around the sun!

The experienced talk show host, who is known for hosting the popular Today's performance with Jimmy Falloncelebrated his 50th birthday with a sweet throwback photo of himself as a child.

On September 19, Fallon took to his official X (formerly Twitter) to express his gratitude to his fans for the support and love he has always received.

“Today I turn 50,” he began his caption.

Fallon continued, “I just want to thank you for allowing me to have this amazing life,” adding, “I'm very lucky. I appreciate the applause, the laughter and the support, whether it's at one of my shows, walking down the street, at a basketball game in France or even when I'm stranded and lost on a Bavarian field.”

“I feel the love and I love you too. Thank you for always supporting every new idea I have,” he added. “Your belief in me makes me believe in myself,” he further noted.

Jimmy Fallon, who is also a father of two children, concluded his message by saying that he had recently donated food to organizations such as Feeding America, Long Island Cares and Bridgehampton Food Pantry.

“Sending my birthday wishes to all of you for a great year ahead. Thank you,” he concluded with the hashtag #FallonIs50.
