Wings vs Aces Predictions, Tips & Odds – 9-19

Wings vs Aces Predictions, Tips & Odds – 9-19

The Dallas Wings are out of the playoff race, but the team will look to end their disappointing season on a high note against the Las Vegas Aces, who will rest at least four of their regular players.

With two-time Defensive Player of the Year A'ja Wilson unavailable for Las Vegas, my predictions for the Wings vs. Aces game are that Satou Sabally will dominate the zone in the season finale. Read my WNBA picks below to find out why we're betting the over on their scoring percentage tonight.

Predictions for Wings vs Aces

My best bet
Satou Sabally Over 19.5 points (+115 at bet365)

My analysis
Satou Sabally has only appeared in 14 games this season, but she has been an impressive point scorer since her late-season debut. She has averaged 17.4 points per game this season and will simply have to be average tonight to make the over at her standard point rate of 17.5 points. I'm not happy with that rate, so I'm going with the alternate point rate of 19.5.

She has scored 18+ points in nine of 14 games this season, including five 20-point games. She has scored 27 and 18 points in her last two games, and her season-high 28 points came against a Las Vegas Aces team that fielded its full starting lineup.

Two-time defending champion and Defensive Player of the Year A'ja Wilson will sit out tonight alongside three other Aces starters, meaning the 6-foot-5 Sabally can take advantage of this favorable matchup and dominate as a scorer in the box.

I'm confident I can take this line up to 19.5 where we can get plus odds on just one more basket. That seems like easy money for them in a phenomenal situation.

Wings vs Aces – Accumulator bet on the same game (SGP)

Satou Sabally Over 19.5 points

Natasha Howard Over 6.5 rebounds

Arike Ogunbowale Over 19.5 points

Natasha Howard is averaging 6.7 rebounds per game this season and has gone over in 14 of 26 appearances with this prop. She is second on the team in rebounds per game, only better than Teaira McCowan (8.1), who is suspended for tonight's game. Without McCowan and a vulnerable frontcourt without A'ja Wilson, this Howard prop is a given for our SGP.

Arike Ogwunbowale's scoring prop is set at 21.5 and I even considered raising it to 24.5 to get plus odds on the alternate line. Instead, I'm playing it safe and using the lower alternate line to bolster our three-legger.

She is averaging 22.2 points per game this season and has reached the 20-point mark in nine of her last 11 appearances. LV will play as a reserve tonight against Dallas, giving Ogwunbowale a chance to shine as a scorer.
