Report: GOP candidate Mark Robinson called himself a “black Nazi” on porn site

Mark Robinson, GOP candidate for governor of North Carolina, said Thursday that he would not drop out of his race after A CNN report uncovered years of disturbing comments He made comments in a forum on a porn website, calling himself a “black Nazi,” saying he was sexually aroused by secretly watching women showering, and calling himself a “pervert” who was into pornography featuring transgender people – a sharp contrast to his current transphobic rhetoric.

Rumors about the CNN report were already circulating early Thursday morning, hours before it was released, and Robinson stated in advance that they were not true.

“I can assure you that the things you will see in this story are not the words of Mark Robinson,” he said. said in a video statement“You know my words. You know my character. And you know that I have been completely transparent in this race and before.”

However, he did not provide any details about what exactly the report says. It's not good.

CNN reported that Robinson, who is currently the state's lieutenant governor, made all sorts of offensive and abusive comments on forums on the website Nude Africa between 2008 and 2012.

The far-right conservative, who has a long history of degrading women and girls, allegedly described secretly “watching” women in public gym showers through air vents. “I sat there for about an hour and watched several girls come in and shower,” he wrote, according to a CNN report.

“The next morning I went to look again,” Robinson said. “But when I went back, the ladder was locked! Those two times [sic] the only times I got to do it! Ahhhhh memories!!!!”

CNN also reported that Robinson raved about his interest in pornography featuring transgender people: “I love watching porn with trannies and girls! It's fucking hot! It lets the man out while keeping him in! And yes, I'm a 'pervert' too!”

In public, Robinson has regularly attacked the LGBTQ+ community, particularly transgender people. He described gays and transsexuals as “Dirt,” and said that gays are synonymous with “what the cows leave behind”, and “maggots” and “flies.” In February, he said trans women should be arrested for using women’s toilets and suggested that they “find a corner somewhere outside” to relieve themselves instead.

The CNN report, which included numerous screenshots of porn sites Robinson allegedly visited for years, said Robinson also called himself a “black NAZI” and advocated the reintroduction of slavery.

Earlier Thursday, the Carolina Journal reported that Robinson’s staff and members of former President Donald Trump’s campaign team were asked him to withdraw of his race about what was to come.

Requests for comment from Robinson's campaign team and his official government office went unanswered.

In the polls, Robinson is steadily trailing his Democratic opponent, the state's Attorney General, Josh Stein.

Stein's campaign issued the following statement in response to the CNN report: “The people of North Carolina already know that Mark Robinson is completely unfit to be governor. Josh remains focused on winning this race so that together we can build a safer and stronger North Carolina for all.”

“I love watching shemale porn with girls! It's fucking hot! It lets the man out and the man in! And yes, I'm a 'pervert' too!” wrote Mark Robinson in a forum on a porn site, according to a new CNN report.

Even if Robinson were to abruptly drop out of the race, Thursday night is the state's deadline to withdraw his candidacy, and it's already too late to remove his name from the ballot. Mail-in ballots are expected to be mailed out Friday.

Robinson, like Trump, the Republican presidential candidate, has a long history of sexist, homophob And otherwise offensive Remarks and peddling wild conspiracy theoriesHe is following Trump, who supported Robinson in March.

The fact that he is not dropping out is good news for Democrats, who hope Robinson's falling numbers will slow Trump and give a boost to Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris and other Democrats in lower-seeded areas in the state.

At least one North Carolina Republican is concerned about the significance of the new reports about Robinson.

“Not good,” was all Rep. Patrick McHenry (R-N.C.) told HuffPost on Thursday.
