Osasuna picked up four points from their first two La Liga games of the season, drawing with Leganes and then beating Mallorca, but suffered a 4-0 defeat to Girona at the end of August.

Vicente MorenoBarcelona responded with a 3-2 win over Celta Vigo before the international break, but lost 3-1 to Rayo Vallecano on Monday night and it's fair to say that consistency has been an issue for the team in the early stages of the new season.

With a total of seven points from five games, they are currently in 13th place in the table, but have the second worst defensive record in the league this season, conceding ten goals.

Osasuna have finished 10th, 11th, 10th, 7th and 11th in the last five seasons at this level and it would be no surprise to see them in the middle of the table again at the end of the season.

Los Rojillos drew 1-1 in both of their La Liga matches against Las Palmas last season and have not beaten Saturday's opponents since a Segunda Division clash in May 2019.

Las Palmas, on the other hand, had a difficult start to the season, picking up just two points from their first five games. This leaves the club in 19th place in the table. Only Valencia have performed worse in the Spanish top division this season.

Luis CarrionIn their opening game of the season, Sevilla drew 2-2 and then lost to Leganés, but managed to force Real Madrid to a 1-1 draw at the end of August, their best result of the season.

However, Los Amarillos were unable to build on their draw with the reigning champions and lost their last two games against Alaves and Athletic Bilbao, conceding five goals.

Las Palmas put up a good fight against Athletic last time, but ultimately lost to the Basques and lost 3-2 in front of their own fans.

Pio Pio finished 16th in Spain's top flight when they returned to La Liga last season and are playing at this level of football for two consecutive seasons for the first time since 2018.

Pablo Ibanez should also be introduced in midfield, but Ruben Garcia And Bryan Zaragoza will maintain their positions in the last third of the field.

As for Las Palmas, Alex Suarez will be out until next month after suffering an ankle problem in the last game against Athletic. Alex Munoz should come in the XI.

Adnan Januzaj And Pejino will also be missing for the guests, but apart from Suarez, the same squad as for the duel with Athletic should be available for action.

Oliver McBurnie has not yet found its stride at Las Palmas since his arrival from Sheffield United in the summer, but the 28-year-old is expected to take the lead in this competition too.

Possible starting lineup for Osasuna:

We say: Osasuna 1:0 Las Palmas

We're not expecting a classic on Saturday, but Osasuna have picked up seven points from their three home league games this season and we're betting on Moreno's side to pick up another win here against a struggling Las Palmas side.
