The MP from Kannauj noted that performance and results would suffer if working conditions were not conducive. He said it was crucial to improve economic conditions rather than just focusing on rules and regulations.

According to a Moneylife.in According to reports, Perayil, who passed the CA exam in November and was working in EY's Pune office, has died of undisclosed reasons. In a letter to EY India Chairman Rajiv Memani, Perayil's grieving mother Anita Augustine said her daughter's death was due to relentless work pressure. Augustine also claimed that no one from EY attended her daughter's funeral.

Augustine's letter, which went viral on social media, states: “She (Anna) worked tirelessly at EY and did her best to meet the demands placed on her. However, the workload, new environment and long working hours took their toll on her – physically, emotionally and mentally. Soon after joining, she began to suffer from anxiety, insomnia and stress, but she did not give up and believed that hard work and perseverance were the keys to success.”
