“Farmer Seeks Wife” 2024: What fans need to know about the anniversary

In 2024, RTL will celebrate the anniversary of “Farmer Seeks Wife” with the biggest season to date. The cult dating show is entering its 20th round with presenter Inka Bause. 13 new episodes will be broadcast from September 30th. 14 candidates have so far been announced on the show's Instagram account and five of them come from Lower Saxony.

“Farmer Seeks Wife” is broadcast every Monday from 8:15 p.m. on RTL. Those who use the streaming service RTL+ can watch the episodes online in advance or catch up on missed episodes.

Christmas tree queen Saskia is looking for a loving man

Saskia, 35, from the Harburg district, is looking for a partner for life on “Farmer Seeks Wife”. The young farmer works on the family Christmas tree farm. The farm in the north of Lower Saxony grows fir trees on around 30 hectares of land, according to RTL. In her free time, the 35-year-old enjoys sports, including her hobbies of soccer and half marathons.

Fun fact about Saskia: The 35-year-old was Christmas tree queen from 2015 to 2017 and has held appointments all over Germany in this role. They told RTL what qualities their partner should have:

Andre from Lower Saxony relies on humor

At 29, farmer Andre is one of the younger candidates on the show. The man from Friesland, Lower Saxony, runs a cattle and horse farm on 50 hectares of grassland and arable land. His main job is for an agricultural contractor. In his free time, he rides his motorbike. He hopes to find an open, funny and child-loving woman on the show who can also open her mouth.

Heino from Jadebusen will find his dream man

Heino from Lower Saxony doesn't want to find his dream partner on “Farmer Seeks Wife”, but rather his dream partner. The 50-year-old dairy farmer from the Jade Bay is looking for an open and honest man who is lovable, attentive and independent, according to the show's Instagram account. Heino keeps 100 dairy cows, 50 calves and numerous small animals in addition to pigs and donkeys on 60 hectares of land.

Konrad from Diepholz is looking for a slim and pretty woman

Konrad from Diepholz is a bricklayer by profession and runs a horse boarding and poultry farm as a sideline. On around three hectares of land, the 61-year-old looks after 20 horses, seven Shetland ponies and numerous ducks, chickens, geese, peacocks, cats and dogs. He imagines his future wife to be open, honest, slim and pretty, and she should also like horses, according to the “Farmer Seeks Wife” Instagram account.
