The government will offer free COVID-19 test kits later this month

ROCHESTER, NY – With COVID-19 cases rising across the country and in New York State, the federal government is once again offering free COVID testing kits.

From the end of September, every household can register for up to four free tests by post. You can order the tests here.

To date, 900 million tests have been delivered to homes through the free COVID testing program. The state saw a rise in confirmed COVID-19 cases in July after a sharp decline since January. You can see the current number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the state here.
