Stefan Raab causes a stir at ProSieben: After the first show there is no doubt

On Wednesday evening (September 18), Stefan Raab celebrated the premiere of his new show “Du gewinnst hier nicht die Million” on RTLplus. Just a week earlier, the whole of Germany was cheering when the 57-year-old made his TV comeback on RTL after ten years of seclusion.

Stefan Raab became known as the “TV total” presenter and has worked closely with ProSieben for 16 years, so his move to the competitor caused quite a stir. But at his premiere show, Raab followed up with another big bang.

Stefan Raab wears “Heavytones” in his show

When the curtain finally opens on “Du holst hier nicht die Million”, the “TV total” fans from the very beginning will not only see a familiar face. In addition to Stefan Raab, the band from the cult show can also be seen and heard. While many viewers will be happy to see them again, there is probably a lot of noise and tension behind the scenes.

During Stefan Raab's comeback boxing match against Regina Halmich, the “Heavytones” suddenly appeared at the press conference that followed. According to “Bild”, the appearance also caused shock among the “TV total” producers. They apparently knew nothing about it. As a result, those responsible immediately kicked the band out – Stefan Raab obviously welcomed him with open arms.

TV total introduces new band

On Instagram, the “Heavytones” made a short statement in which they thanked the TV total team and presenter Sebastian Pufpaff, but said they were now looking forward to a “new chapter”. At the same time as the first Raab episode on RTLplus, ProSieben also showed a new edition of TV total as usual and reacted to the band's end with a small ironic production.

“Where is the band?” Sebastian Pufpaff asks himself on Wednesday evening (September 18th) as he is about to pick up the band members from their dressing room. “At RTL plus,” a member of staff explains. “At RTL plus? That's not television,” the TV Total presenter sneers and makes his way to the “musician's street.” And the 48-year-old has found what he was looking for: “Klinke Supreme” is the name of the new band that will now provide the musical accompaniment on TV total.
