Sankt Martin bei Lofer: One person slightly injured in crash involving car and bicycle

A traffic accident occurred in Sankt Martin near Lofer (Pinzgau) on Wednesday at around 4:30 p.m. The local fire brigade was dispatched to the scene of the accident with the code word “person trapped”. When they arrived, the fire brigade found that the person involved was not trapped and had already been cared for by the Red Cross.

One person was slightly injured in the accident between a car and a bicycle, the Red Cross told SALZBURG24. The slightly injured person was taken to the hospital in Zell am See, and an emergency helicopter that had initially been called out was cancelled.

The volunteer fire brigade secured the accident site with 19 emergency personnel and was able to return after about half an hour.
