Baby Bowl MVP winner announced

WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) – Child Care Partners announced the three MVP winners of its Baby Bowl on Tuesday, September 17.

The MVPs of the event, which served as a scholarship fundraiser, raised over $7,000. The event as a whole was part of Texoma Gives and raised over $29,000.

The third place winner received a $100 Target gift card, while the top two winners received Toyota Power Wheels.

Regional Engagement Director AnnDrea Harris said the money raised will benefit children in the region.

“Because we are a nonprofit, we provide childcare services to families in need. Childcare can be very expensive, so we provide childcare for low-income families as well. And the money raised goes toward scholarships. The really cool thing is that one of the participants actually attends one of our centers and the other two boys are just kids from the community. So they raised money for kids like them,” Harris said.
