Three-vehicle accident involving an estimated 45 children

According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, a three-vehicle crash occurred on Tuesday, September 17, at 3:54 p.m., involving a school bus carrying an estimated 45 children.

The accident occurred in County B at the intersection of I-94 in Dunn County near Menomonie.

Two vehicles, a pickup truck and an SUV, were stopped at traffic lights due to road construction. A school bus approached the two vehicles from behind and rammed the pickup truck, which was pushed into the SUV.

At the time of the accident, there were about 45 children on the school bus, none of whom were injured.

The driver of the pickup truck suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The accident is currently being investigated by the Wisconsin State Patrol.
