Baby puts snake in mouth

In case you didn’t know, here’s your signal: children put everything in their mouths.

Of course, this is a natural development for them as this is how they learn and develop. This behavior is called “mouth movement” and is not only a learning process but sometimes a result of teething and helps infants and toddlers with their oral motor skills.

There are many benefits and reasons, but we believe the reason in this video was based on old-fashioned curiosity.

According to BBC News, “Using their mouths allows them to take in information about objects and their own bodies. The texture, the taste, the shape, the size – it's a great way for them to satisfy their curiosity and learn.”

A video shared on TikTok shows a father holding his son.

Dad holds his toddler as they watch a person with a snake. But before you can say “Jack Robinson,” the child does the unthinkable. The snake naturally moves its head toward him, and the child grabs the snake by the head and puts it in his mouth…

Of course, since we know that children put anything and everything in their mouths, this could have ended horribly.
